I am sure you all know the  benefits of drinking lemon water, as it is famous for its weight loss and skin boosting properties.

I could mention every single health benefits of lemon, but that would make this article too long and boring. But I'd love to share three major reason for, why I love adding lemon in my water.



lemon water aids the liver in flushing out toxins and improving digestion hence it gives the skin a clearer complexion. Vitamin C is required for the production of collagen resulting in a healthier, smoother skin. In addition, the antioxidants found in vitamin C helps to recover the  damage caused by free radicals keeping your skin fresh. I could actually see the results on my skin when I added lemon in my scrubber and facepack.



I drink minimum of 4 liters of water daily with lemon. Usually after 2 liters of normal water, it feels like okay not anymore, but I have to take at least 4 litres of water to keep myself hydrated. So I  added a bit of  lemon to it. It worked ,the flavour just made it interesting,  it helps me intake more.

Drinking lemon water lifts my mood instantly, it's the best energy booster for my body. It helps to maintain my energy level all day, everyday. What more can you ask for?



Worried about bad breath? Solution? Drink a few cups of lemon water.

Bad breath is primarily caused by bacteria, either in the mouth, throat or digestive tract. If you've got bad breath, it's a sign that there are too many bacteria flourishing in your body. Just brushing your teeth is not enough. Sure, it will help you to cover up the foul smell, but only for a little while after which, you'd feel the need of freshening up once again.

Unless, of course, you find a way to kill off the odor-causing bacteria, which is where lemon comes in. Lemon is a potent antiseptic  that is more than capable of killing off the bacteria responsible for your bad breath. Why else do you think it's used in so many odor and germ-killing products?

To deal with the problem, drink a few glasses of lemon water throughout the day. Swish each mouthful around before swallowing. The acid in the lemon juice will kill off the bacteria, leaving your mouth free from the bad smell.

So these are the  three main reasons why I try my best to consume lemon water daily. Apart from these three,

Lemon water is known for it's role in weight loss and curing headache.
